The lovely lady with her rose bush and her baby.
On porch:
I’m going to great lengths to blog these photos… Low on power.
He’s trying to open his eyes:
Someone special came into our lives on Tuesday of this week. For those who have not had a chance to meet him, Little N. is the new arrival. Little N. (we try not to use foster kids’ names in public, for their protection and privacy) was born on Sunday, May 23rd, 7 lbs. and 4 oz. At least I think that’s what they told us. He shares birthdays with my brother, Kameron, and is as healthy as could be. Aside from being a slow eater, he’s been doing great. We are learning about parenting infants, as this is our first one!
The timing of my company trip to Nashville couldn’t have been worse… Ally has been all alone these past two days and night. She’s hanging in there, but she is admittedly exhausted. I’m prepared to stay up all night the next few nights (and any night I need to), since I was able to get good rest last night. She had a friend come over to assist the night I was gone, and Heidi and The Other Aidan came over today to meet the baby and play. Here’s another picture of the baby with me on the first day we had him.
Kameron told me things ought to be much easier after one month. I hope so! :-) I’m going to try and get a few more blog posts out while I sit here in the Nashville airport, waiting for my flight home to Cleveland.
